“I’m sorry you had a bad day, but you can’t take it out on me!” I yell at my boyfriend. His jaw clenches.
The second he walked through the door he was looking for a fight. I turn around and walk upstairs, hoping to get away from Calum, but he follows closely behind. I slam the door shut, creating a barrier between us.
“Open the door, y/n!” He pounds on the door.
After a few minutes I couldn’t stand the noise anymore and opened the door.
“Just leave Calum.” I say.
He shakes his head. “No, we’re talking about this.”
I furrow my eyebrows. “Talk about what Calum? Talk about how I haven’t seen you all day, but then you come home in a bad mood and start yelling at me? Or talk about the fact that I actually never see you? You are constantly with the guys!”
“SO NOW YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY FRIENDS?” He throws his hands in the air.
I roll my eyes. “You know that’s not what I said. I have a problem with you not making time for us.” I argued.
“OR MAYBE I SPEND TOO MUCH TIME WITH YOU” He shouts.
I don’t answer.
“Are we breaking up?” I interrupt him.
Calum looks at me and hesitates. “…..yeah.” He finally says.
I nod. “Great Calum. That’s just great. Just throw 2 years away.”
And with that I slam my door again. I slump to the ground while staring at the same spot on the wall. Did-did Calum and I really just break up? When I hear the front door slam I burst into tears. I curl up into a ball and call my best friend.
“Y/n?” My best friend shouts while running up the stairs. She opens my door and immediately drops to the ground and hugs me.
“Babe what happened?” She asks, hugging me tight.
“C-Calum and I…b-b-broke up” I manage to say.
Shock covers her face but she doesn’t say a word. She just continues to hug me.
I slam the front door and get in my car. I try to press the gas, but my foot won’t move. I feel paralyzed. I run my fingers through my hair and repeatedly hit my head against the head rest. My anger got the best of me. Y/n didn’t even do anything wrong. I know I spend a lot of time with the guys, but being in a band requires rehearsing, concerts, tours, promoting, and more rehearsing.
After 20 minutes I manage to actually leave her driveway.
We eventually move from the floor of my room to the living room sofa to watch a movie.
“I’m gonna take a shower.” I announce once the movie ends.
She nods. “I’ll be here when you get out.”
I smile at her and walk upstairs. I turn the shower to hot. Hopefully the steam will help make my eyes less swollen. I do the usual routine. After changing, I walk downstairs, but she meets me halfway.
“Y/n” She says, slightly panicked. “Calum’s here.”
I walk down the remaining steps to see Ashton, Luke, and Michael. Ashton grabs my hand and pulls me to the side.
“Calum showed up to my house earlier. He’s drunk. Like really drunk. He won’t stop asking for you and we’ve been trying to calm him down for an hour. I didn’t know what to do so I brought him here. And I’m really really sorry he’s probably the last person you want to see-”
“What am I supposed to do? He broke up with me.” I interrupt Ashton.
“He won’t stop asking for you y/n. He told us that you were upset that he’s always with us, but you should know that when he is with us he constantly talks about you. Like it gets really, really annoying.” Ashton says while slightly rolling his eyes.
I walk over to Calum who looks like he’s about to pass out.
“Hey.” I say.
“Y/n? Y/N!!!! Hey babe!” He giggles and reaches out for me but misses. He falls to the ground which causes him to giggle some more.
“Alright, let’s get you to bed.” I say and with Michael’s help, we drag him up the stairs and into my room.
“You guys can stay over. I’ll stay here with Calum.” I tell the guys.
I stare at the ceiling as I listen to Calum lightly snore. Suddenly he starts groaning, then panicking.
“Y/N!!” He shouts. His eyes are tightly shut. “Y/N!”
“Hey, hey I’m here.” I say, shaking him.
He opens his eyes and sighs when he sees me. “Y/n? Thank God you’re here. I’m so sorry babe. I’m so so sorry. Of course I don’t want to break up I was angry. I’m sorry I don’t make enough time for you but that will change I promise.” Calum rambles, still slightly drunk. I notice his eyes starting to get glossy.
“We’ll talk about this tomorrow.”
I’m too tired and Calum’s still too drunk to hold a serious conversation. I scoot closer to him as he wraps his arms around me.
“I love you.” He says before passing out.
“I love you too, Calum.” I reply and close my eyes.

Heavy sighs escaped his lips while he was leaning his back against the doorframe to your bedroom. A plate was resting in his hand along with cutlery in the other but even with the smell of food you didn’t seem to notice, neither move. “You didn’t come down when I called for dinner.” He headed towards your side of the bed and placed the food on top of it. “I don’t want any.” You mumbled tiredly, pulling the sheets up to your chin. Even if your stomach was screaming for food you didn’t allow yourself to give in. Luke sighed once again and took a seat down on your bed. “Y/N.” His voice was soft and cooing, his hand rubbing over the sheets where your thigh was. “Are you really gonna stay mad at me for the rest of the night?” Moving around so you wouldn’t have to face him you focused on the wall in front of you, your back now facing him. Placing the cutlery next to the plate he moved his legs up on the bed and wrapped his arm around you – even with your rejection. “I’m sorry sweety. Sometimes when I don’t know how to control my wordings I say stupid things and today was one of those. I guess I’m stressed. But of course I shouldn’t take it over you.” Turning around so you were facing him you cuddled your face into his chest and he smiled brightly. “Seems like that means I’ve been forgiven.”
Calum’s gaze switched between looking at the TV and your form next to him, your blanket pulled all the way up to your chin while your legs were pressed against your chest. The silence was torture to him, almost worse than when you were giving him the silent treatment. He had been trying to pressure himself to say the words knowing that you wouldn’t give in even though you were just as much as a fool like he was. “Babe.” He cooed quietly after gaining confidence. “I’m sorry about before. We both know it was a silly fight.” He furrowed his eyebrows when you didn’t flick a single muscle, your eyes still gazed on the TV and your lips pursed. He parted his lips irritated by your reaction and quivered an eyebrow. Not wanting to deal with your grumpy state he grabbed your foot with ease and started to tickle you under it. Your eyes widened by his sudden action and even if you didn’t want to dare to look at him you couldn’t avoid it. “Fuck off.” You exclaimed softly, trying your best not to smile. “Accept my apology.” He argued and moved over so his face was resting in your lap, looking up at you with his golden brown deer eyes. “No.” You mumbled and tried to focus back on the TV but it was difficult with your annoying boyfriend on your lap though knew the second a smile embraced on your face that he was forgiven.
With his blanket pressed against his bare chest and his eyes tired he slumped down the hallway and back into your bedroom. The lights were off in the room yet he could tell from your movements that you were just as awake as he was. “I- I didn’t want to sleep on the couch.” He croaked silently and pointed backwards. You fluttered your eyes open to look at him and shrugged your shoulders, not even wanting to deal with him in the middle of the night. It was enough you had been going on in an almost endless fight earlier. He placed the blanket on the floor by his nightstand and slid his body under the covers, smiling slightly when you didn’t move away from him. He leaned his head against his pillow so your faces were inches away from each other, his hand coming up to caress yours. “I’m sorry princess. I hope you know it. It wasn’t my intention to make you so sad. It never is and it kills me when it happens.” His other hand moved up to caress your hair, removing strands away from your tired face. “You think you can forgive me? I assume the bed must have been awfully cold without me.” Your eyes met for a short second, your teeth digging into your bottom lip while you felt the warmness of his hands against yours. Nodding your head slightly a huge smile embraced his tired features, his lips founding yours seconds later before he wrapped you up in his arms finally ready to fall asleep.
His lips parted slightly the second the words left his lips, words that his brain barely registered before they left his mouth. He wasn’t supposed to say it but with the circumstances and the anger lingering in his veins he couldn’t control his wordings. He never had a problem with that but today was different. Guilt crept up his spine the second silence fell upon the kitchen, the only sound now being the clock ticking against the wall. “Y/N I-“ He started but you turned around instantly and forced yourself towards the front entrance to your house. But the second you hand reached out for the doorknob Ashton grabbed it lightly and pressed you against the wall. “Please don’t leave I didn’t mean it okay?” He breathed, the anger washing away from his face the second he noticed your hurt expression. “I didn’t mean any of it okay I’m a fool sometimes and you know that but please don’t leave. Stay with me.” You didn’t want to look at him but his gentle fingers forced you to it, his hazel eyes showing clear regret. “I’m sorry Y/N. I am so deeply sorry. Please let me proof that.” He removed his fingers from your chin gently to press his lips against yours briefly, the feeling of yours working against his making him smile. He moved down to grab you by the thighs easily before he headed direction towards your bedroom, the fight now soon forgotten.

EX-BF/N: ex-boyfriend’s name
EX-GF/N: ex-girlfriend’s name
Part 2 HERE
You and Calum’s relationship was a strange one. You both dived head first, eyes closed, into the relationship. Everything went so fast but you were happy. You both were. Or at least you were.
You felt like things were going fine. You were happy with the relationship so far. But then you felt Cal shift a bit in the relationship. He didn’t take you out as much, he acted a little hostile at times and he’d give the boys knowing looks whenever you did things. You didn’t want to question him because you were scared about your first fight. You two fought only on small occasions. You had never fought on such a large scale. Until tonight.
“God Y/N would you just shut up.” Cal muttered under his breath and you knew he was hoping you didn’t hear.
“Excuse me?” You turned to face him and tried to keep your voice calm, hoping not to cause a scene while the other boys were in the room.
“You heard me.” Cal just mumbled and rubbed his temples.
“No no, what I heard was this asshole snap at me for talking.” You said.
“Seriously Y/N? You can always be such a drama queen.” He replied.
“Well then I’ll leave. Let you continue to be an asshole.” You snapped at him and went to get your things.
“Really? You’ve talked about coming to tonight’s show for so long, why leave now? I mean it’s not like you haven’t come to every other show before. Or that you’ve followed me around almost everywhere that has cameras flashing. Why be an annoying bitch now?” You didn’t know who Cal turned into but you sure as hell didn’t like you.
“So this is what your attitude is about? That I come to too many of your shows and there just happens to be flashing cameras. I don’t know what they call it these days but back then they called that a supportive girlfriend.” You returned his sarcasm and stayed put. You wanted to know what else he thought of you.
“Oh it’s not just like that. I’ve been with too many girls to not see how they’re always using me. Always using this ‘fame’ that I’ve got. And I’m sick and tired of being used. So when you’re done using me, don’t let the door hit you on your way out.” You watched carefully as Calum said his part. He sounded so prepared, like he had been thinking this for a while now.
When you replied you surprised everyone in the room with your fragile voice. “You think I’m using you for fame? That’s what you think of me?” You realised that there were the other threes boys in the room but you didn’t care. “I love you Calum. I would never… Look, I come to your shows to support you. I come on tour with you cause I know neither of us like being alone. I dropped almost everything I had back home to show this stupid boy how I support him. How I’m so fucking proud of him. And he doesn’t get it. He doesn’t get know that I love watching him do what he loves because that makes me happy. Simply because he makes me happy. You don’t get it. I know you’ve had issues before with other girls. But Cal, I’m not those girls. But you don’t see that do you?” Your voice was quiet and you knew it cracked and shook through your little 'speech’.
He didn’t say anything. He was silent. You watched him carefully, hopefully he had something to say. But there was nothing said.
You sighed and turned to leave but noticed the boys there. “Shit… I uh… I’m sorry you guys just watched that.”
They just have you a weak smile and looked at you as if to say, 'it’s okay’.
You stared back at Calum who looked broken. You shook your head at him before grabbing your bagging and leaving through their dressing room door, planning on how to leave the hotel room and fly back home.
Much opposite to Cal’s, you and Michael took it slow. You both knew how hard it was to maintain a relationship, let alone a long distance one. So you two took it slow and gradually grew closer together as a couple.
Though you two have had many fights before, you never considered anything to be too big or massive enough to ruin a relationship. But when Michael talked to you that night, you started changing your mind. This fight was your first major heartbreaking fight.
“Y/N?” He called you over.
You two were currently in a hotel room as they were mid tour.
“Yeah?” You walked your way over to him.
“I was planning for us to go out tomorrow. You know, the casual date. We’ll go out to have lunch at the nice place and just be together.” He smiled up at you.
You say down next to him and held his hand. “That sounds like such a nice idea. But Mikey, you know how I feel about being in the public.”
He slightly slipped his hand from yours. “Yeah I know.” He said bitterly.
You furrowed your eyebrows. “Are you okay Mikey?"
"Well I mean, my girlfriend doesn’t want to be seen with me so I guess I’m just peachy.” He stood up to leave but you stopped him.
“What do you mean I don’t want to be seen with you? Of course I do. But going public? Isn’t that just too much? And-"
"No Y/N, no more 'and’s and 'but’s. I really do love you. That’s why I want to show you out. I want to let people know that you’re mine. I want people to know that I have this wonderful girlfriend. Will you let me do that?” He said. You didn’t reply for a while and his expression turned to shock. “You’re scared.”
You shook your head. “What? No!”
“Yes you are! You’re scared about being seen with me!” He said.
“No that’s not it! That’s-”
“Yes it is-”
“No Michael! I’m not scared because of that!” Your sudden rise in your voice silenced him. “I’m scared because of what will happen after we go public! What if they don’t like me? What if I get ridiculed? What if I can’t handle it? I know your job carries so much pressure but you’re used to it. I’m not! I’m not cut out for these cameras and these fans and all of this.” You seemed to be screaming at him.
“If you think you’re not cut out for this then why are you dating me?” He challenged you.
You couldn’t stand his defeated stare. You knew you broke his heart. But when you first began this relationship you imagined him to be the one breaking your heart. Not the other way around.
“I don’t know.” You whispered.
He groaned, clearly frustrated. “You don’t know?! You don’t know what? You don’t know if you want to be with me? You don’t know if you love me enough? You don’t know if-”
“I JUST DON’T KNOW!” You yelled back.
He stared at you, shocked and broken. You felt sick with yourself. You felt guilty because you couldn’t give him the answer he wanted. So you did what you did best. You walked past him and ran out of the hotel room, wiping the tears from your cheeks.
It was in the beginning of your relationship. You and Luke had just been together for a couple of months. You thought it was time he’d officially met your friends. You’ve met his family and friends, and he’s met your family. You were a little worried he would leave this lunch you planned for everyone a little upset.
You were right.
“How come you didn’t tell me?” He seethed when you invited him back in to your place.
“Tell you what?” You were completely confused.
“That your still best friends with your ex-boyfriend.” He said it as if it was the most obvious thing.
“I didn’t think it was important.” You struggled to maintain a calm voice.
“It wouldn’t be this important if you didn’t realise that he’s still in love with you.” He stared back at you intensely, waiting for you to deny it.
“I-I… He doesn’t…"
Luke laughed darkly, "As if you couldn’t see it! He’s all over you, he hates my guts and I’m not the only person in that room that noticed him looking at you like that."
“Like the way that I look at you.” After he spoke he rested his head in his hands for a moment.
“Luke, I promise I didn’t he know he still loved me.” You said softly.
“I remember when we first got together you told me you were just getting over your first love. He was your first love wasn’t he?” Luke’s voice sent shivers down your spine. You merely nodded and watched his heart break. “And I’m probably just the rebound.”
“No! Of course not!” You said quickly.
“Then answer me honestly Y/N. Do you want to be with me?”
He nodded slightly. “I was going to tell you that I love you. I do love you. But I have to ask this because if we continue it’s going to be worthless.” He sighed before continuing, “Do you love me?”
“Yes, I love you Luke.”
You wanted to speak but he asked you something else. “Do you still love EX-BF/N?”
“Do you still love him?” Luke was growing slightly impatient. When you didn’t reply he said loudly, “Do you still love him Y/N?!”
Luke watched you carefully and shook his head. “I can’t believe I was so stupid to think that you could’ve been mine.”
“Luke please-” You grabbed his arm.
“No Y/N. You can’t have both of us, that’s not how this works. I love you but I can’t be with you if you don’t feel the same.” He pulled his arm from your grip.
You hated the guilty and hurt feeling you had when you watched him leave through your door. When you heard the door slam shut you fell down to the ground and you didn’t even bother to stop the tears.
You’ve known since the beginning that Ashton’s had some rocky relationships in the past. But so have you. So when you two began your relationship you took precaution but enough so that you both felt happy.
You accepted everything that came with Ash. His friends, his family, hell you even accepted his weird habits.
The first fight you two both had was terrible. It was unexpected as it was lengthy. It happened the night of a party that was being held on behalf of the band. Almost everyone they knew was in attendance. And as the girlfriend, you got to enjoy the night with Ashton.
Or at least that was the plan.
When Ash broke of his relationship previous to yours, he left on semi good terms. Though he didn’t talk to her, she was still friends with his friends. He couldn’t stop that of course, and you didn’t let it bother you. He’d reassure you there would be no problem and the reason she was at the party was because she was still mates with the rest of the band.
That night you had the misfortunate event of being alone with her after the boys went to get drinks.
“Y/N right?” She caught your attention.
"So you’re the girl Ash broke up with me for.” She said, though there was no hint of anger or annoyance. Just curiosity.
“I don’t think you’re quite right…” You mumbled.
“I just meant to say that when I got together with Ash he had been single for a while. I don’t think he broke up with you for me.” You said calmly.
“Are you trying to sound like a bitch? Cause it’s working.” Her temper begin to rise.
“No I was just saying that I wouldn’t be the reason why you broke up. Maybe you and him just weren’t working or you-” You couldn’t finish your sentence because she threw her drink at your face.
“You bitch!” She screeched.
Before you knew it, you were pushed back and she took a blow to your face and stomach. You did what you could do and pushed her off you. But when you opened your eyes again you noticed Ash hold EX-GF/N and glare at you.
“Y/N, we’re leaving.” Ash spat at you.
He didn’t bother helping you up so you just followed him to the car and he drove angrily in silence.
When you two got back to his place he immediately interrogated you.
“What the fuck was that about?! You caused a huge scene!” He yelled.
“I wasn’t… She started it.” You said softly hoping it would calm him down.
“I saw you push her! The fuck you think I am? I’m not an idiot.” He continued to raise his voice. “I heard screams and Cal ran up to me saying you and EX-GF/N were fighting. Do you know how embarrassing that was?”
“Ash, I didn’t do anything but defend myself. She started fighting with me and hit me first!”
“Well that’s not what she told me!”
Your eyes widened. “So you believe her over me?”
He just scoffed. “I saw what I saw Y/N.”
You knew that continuing to fight with him would be useless. “You’re not going to believe me are you?” His eyes softened at your weak voice slightly before glaring at you. “I’m done with this night. Fuck you Ashton.”
You didn’t let him say anything before you walked out of his house and onto the streets. You walked all the way home and when you got home you threw your phone at the wall and collapsed on your bed, crying your eyes out.
5sos Blurbs — First fight (4/4)
First fight (4/4)
Calum: I feel like with Calum the first real fight would be him saying something dumb without realizing. Like maybe you two are spending time together and you’re jokingly teasing him like “️your hair looks like a mop on your head, it’s so fluffy.” And of course you don’t mean it in a mean way, because you love his fluffy, curly hair. But Calum would turn it around and say something like “well the hot girl in the club thought my hair was pretty damn good.” And you would just sit there speechless for a moment because he just threw that in your face because he knew you had gotten jealous when the club girl had been all over your boyfriend. You had almost forgotten the incident, until now. “Did you really just throw that in my face?” You tell him and Calum would smirk, not knowing he had really bothered you and nod and you would stand from your spot on the couch and walk away from him fast. Calum would have that ‘oh shit’ moment and run after you while planning his apology in his head. “(Y/n)-” he would start but you don’t let him finish, “I can’t believe you did that! I was just playing around about your hair and you have to remind me about that stupid girl who wouldn’t leave my boyfriend alone. You know how insecure that made me.” And Calum would feel really guilty because he did know and he would give you his best pouty face and wrap his arms around your waist so you couldn’t run away from him again, “I’m sorry babe, I wasn’t thinking. I’m an asshole sometimes, I know.” He chuckled and you nodded while you waited for him to continue and he would by saying, “and I shouldn’t have said anything because I know you love my fluffy hair” and he would tickle your face with his curls and everything would be forgotten because you love your silly Calum too much.
Ashton: “You told me you were going out with family (y/n)!” Ashton yelled at me. I was getting more and more frustrated and Ashton was getting more and more angry. “I did! If you would just let me explain-” you said but he cut you off, “I don’t want any lame-ass explanation, you lied to me and now there's pictures of you and some guy all over the internet.” You rolled your eyes before replying, “I could explain it if you would let me.” But Ashton wasn’t hearing it. He just gave you a glare before grabbing his keys and walking out of your house. You heard his car door slam and then he was gone. You groaned in frustration, knowing all of this would’ve been avoided if he had listened. You had gone out with family the night before and then you and your cousin Josh had stayed out later than everyone else because it had been so long since you’d seen each other. Ashton had never met Josh so when fans had spread pictures of the two of you, Ashton had gotten mad and wouldn’t listen to reason. So you decide to just wait it out, knowing Ash would eventually calm down and come around. And you were right, later that night while you were laying in bed getting ready to get some sleep, your phone rang with Ashton’s name flashing on the screen. You immediately answered, “Hello Ashton.” he sighed, probably relieved that you had picked up at all, “Hey babe, umm, about earlier…” he trailed off and you giggled, “If you had let me talk I would’ve told you that he was my cousin that I haven’t seen in years.” You could almost hear Ashton’s pout through the phone, “I’m so sorry, I should’ve listened and trusted you.” you gave him a “uh huh” and he continued, “I promise to listen better in the future, it just scared me because I don’t want to lose you. I love you (y/n).” “I love you too Ash, I forgive you.” you told him and you stayed on the phone with him talking about random things until you fell asleep with the phone beside your ear.
Luke: It had started as something simple and stupid. You and Luke teased each other all the time. But one day one of you would take it too far and it would end in your very first screaming match in the middle of the living room. You both would say things you didn’t mean and things you never meant to say to each other. “Well if you don’t like it maybe you should leave!” Luke would scream at you. Instead of yelling back at him you would just stop, give him a death glare and nod. “Maybe I should.” Then you would grab your keys and just run out without another word and it would set in for Luke that, “oh my god she just left me.” and he would try to chase you out but he would just see your car speeding down the street. Luke knew you wouldn’t want him to chase after you right now because you both needed space to calm down. So he would hang his head and walk back inside and he couldn’t help the tears falling down his cheeks because he was now scared that you wouldn’t come back. You did though. After sitting in your car for several hours alternating between feeling mad and feeling guilty, you realized it was almost midnight and decided to go home and either make peace with Luke or pack your things if he wanted you to. You hoped with all your heart that he wouldn’t want that. So you arrive home and sneak inside as quietly as you could and the first thing you saw was your boyfriend crashed on the couch curled up in a ball like he always did when sleeping alone. When you walked closer you saw his cheeks stained with tears and his eyes still puffy from crying and your heart broke, but you were also a little relieved that today upset him just as much as you, it gave you hope that he wouldn’t kick you out when he woke up. You shook his shoulder lightly and his eyes popped open, eyes widening when he saw you and his arms immediately wrapping around you and pulling you down to him. “oh god, you came back. I was so scared you wouldn’t come back.” he mumbled into your shoulder and you couldn’t help but tear up again as you ran your fingers through his hair to comfort him. “I will always come back Luke. I’m sorry for what I said today.” Luke shook his head at your words and a smile spread across his lips, “I’m sorry too, I love you.” then he pressed his soft lips to yours and your world was right again.
Michael: Michael had been home for only a few days from tour and it had been nice except for one thing- he didn’t want to do anything. Right now he was sat on the couch in his man cave playing video games against some of his friends and you just wanted his attention for once. It wasn’t that you were trying to be selfish and keep him from your game, but he had been playing for hours and he hadn’t done much with you since he had gotten home. “Mikey, how much longer are you going to play?” you asked from your spot on the opposite end of the couch. “I don’t know (y/n), don’t distract me.” He mumbled in response and you frowned at his annoyed tone. “I’m just saying, you’ve been playing for hours. Let’s go out and get some ice cream or something.” you said and he rolled his eyes, “(y/n) I said leave me alone.” “Whatever.” you replied and stood up going to get dressed to get ice cream alone. You meant to quickly walk in front of Michael so you wouldn’t bother him and it was easier than squeezing behind the couch to get to the door. But your foot got caught on the cord of the play station and you tripped, pulling the cord out with you. You looked up to see a black screen and a very angry Michael. You scrambled to your feet and kicked the wire off, “Michael I’m so sorry, my foot got tangled-” you tried to calm him down but he wouldn’t let you, “I told you to leave me the hell alone but you just had to be a drama queen and ruin my whole game! Just get out of here!” “It was an accident Michael! Stop yelling at me.” he rolled his eyes at you again and crossed his arms with a frown on his face, “accident my ass, you’ve been a pest all day. Just because you’re bored doesn’t mean you have to be a brat and ruin my day.” You gasped, tears pricking your eyes at his words, “since when did you become such a jerk? You’ve been like this ever since you came home. I just want to spend time with my boyfriend!” With that you ran out of the room. A part of you hoped he would run out after you and realize how much you missed him. But that hope died when you heard the door of his mancave slam closed behind you. With a sigh you found a pint of chocolate ice cream in the back of the freezer, grabbed a spoon, and hid yourself in the bedroom watching chick flicks on Netflix and trying to put your fight out of your mind. Michael emerged about an hour later. He felt awful for the way he had talked to you and your yelling at him made him realize how much he had been ignoring you. He made his way to your shared bedroom and peeked in, a smile on his lips when he saw you licking the spoon and he heard your favorite movie on the tv. He sneaked inside, you ignoring his quiet approach. He didn’t say anything as he crawled up beside you and took the spoon, taking a bite of the ice cream and your eyes finally met his. “let’s go out tonight and have a date night and let me make up for everything I’ve said and done. I really missed you too, and it’s hard to get back to normal life after being away so long. I’ll get better though, I didn’t realize I was hurting you so much.” he said and you put the ice cream down and crossed your arms, “I get to pick the pizza toppings for a month.” Michael smiled widely and nodded, knowing he had the best girlfriend in the world.

Hi!! Could you write a luke imagine where he dreams im gonna leave him and when he wakes up he doesnt see me right away. But then he finds me, idk in the bathroom, or downstairs, and just wont leave my side?? Please and thank you
You were about to fall asleep, when you heard your front door open and close. You sat up in bed and listened quietly as feet padded softly up the stairs. The door to your room opened and you found yourself face to face with a startled Luke.
“Oh, I didn’t know you were still up,” He mumbled.
You sighed. Of course you were still up, you could never fall asleep when Luke was out so late like this; the possibilities of things that could’ve gone wrong kept you up at night.
“You promised you’d stop staying out so late,” You said, crossing your arms. He shrugged and went into your closet, probably to change. You could tell by the way he was walking that he was still pretty drunk.
Ever since Luke got home from tour two months ago, all he wanted to do was stay out all night and party. At first you didn’t mind, and would go out with him quite often. The two of you would come stumbling into your small apartment in the early hours of the morning, full of drunken giggles. But now, it seemed like all Luke wanted to do was go out to clubs to drink and party, and frankly you were worried about him. You’d even tried talking to the other guys about it, but even they were helpless regarding Luke’s new found bordering-obsessive partying habits.
“Luke!” You said a little louder.
“What, Y/N?” He snapped, making you frown. He always seemed to be in a bad mood lately, especially when he was wasted like this.
“You promised you would-”
“Yeah, I know okay. I just lost track of time.” He muttered before tossing his jeans into a corner with his jacket, leaving him in just a white t-shirt and boxer shorts.
You sighed, unhappy with his overused excuse. He seemed to have heard you, and had spun around to face you with an annoyed look on his face.
“What do you want from me?” He said, watching you from across the room as you shuffled around in bed.
“I just want you to stop coming home so late, I’m worried about you!” You cried out in frustration.
“Well, fuck, I never asked you to stay up and worry about me. I’m fine.” He replied.
“You’re obviously not! I mean, if you were you wouldn’t feel the need to go out and party every single night! Me and the guys are worried about -”
“You talked to the guys about me?” He asked you.
“Luke I’m just wor–”
“Well, don’t be! This is bull! Just because I like to go out and live my life, doesn’t mean I need some kind of intervention. I’m fine.” His words felt like a hard slap in the face, leaving you feeling cold, empty and alone.
“You know what Luke? I’m done!” You said, throwing the blanket off you in frustration.
“Good! I don’t need someone to look after me! You’re my girlfriend, not my mom,” He quickly got out before you left the room, slamming the bedroom door shut behind you.
Your breaths were heavy as you took in the surroundings of your hallway, not entirely sure what to do with yourself. You wanted to cry and kick something in anger at how aggravating Luke was, but you knew it wouldn’t help anything.
You grabbed a couple blankets from the storage closet, and made your way downstairs to the couch where you planned on spending the night. After getting as comfortable as you possibly could, you stared up at the ceiling, trying to think of a solution. But you didn’t know what to do. You used to have a friend who had went down a similar path like Luke, and quickly became an alcoholic. But before you could try and help them, they died in a car accident from driving while intoxicated. You knew Luke wasn’t dumb enough to drink and drive, but you still worried about all the other things that could happen to him: alcohol poisoning, liver cancer. Even though it was a bit too early for any real damage to be done, it still didn’t stop you from worrying, because you knew it was only going to get worse from there.
After lying down for an hour unable to fall asleep, you decide to take the car out for a drive to get your mind off things. You only ended up driving for a little less than twenty minutes before turning around and going back home. As mad as you were at Luke, you didn’t want to sleep without him, especially with the way you both ended things.
When you got back into your apartment, you found a frantic Luke, looking absolutely miserable and completely lost.
“Luke?” You called out to him quietly, unsure if his earlier anger towards you had disappeared or not. When his gaze landed on you, a look of relief quickly spread across his face. as he quickly glided over to you and pulled you into an embrace.
“Where have you been?” He asked you. “I just went for a drive,” You say, staring into his cloudy blue eyes.
“What’s wrong?” You asked him.
“I just- I had a dream you left me, and then I came downstairs and you weren’t here.” He mumbled shyly, nervously playing with his lip ring.
“Luke,” You said softly, grabbing his hand.
“Don’t ever leave me,“ he whispered, pressing your hand to his lips.
"I’ll even stop partying so late, I just, I can’t lose you,” He said before pulling you closer once again, resting his chin on the top of your head. His familiar smell was tinged with alcohol, yet still managed to make you feel at home.
“I’m not going anywhere Luke,” You said, looking up at his face to see the smile growing on it.
“I’m sorry for being a dumbass,” he sighed, making you giggle.
"Yeah you were kind of one,“ you replied poking him in the stomach. A soft chuckled escaped his lips.
"Come back to bed?” He asked you and you nod, He kisses your forehead softly and grabs your hand, leading you back to the both of yours’ room.
I hope you guys liked that :) Here’s a link to my masterlist and my ask box if you wanna send in some requests (which are still open btw) ! I also write michael, calum and ashton imagines in case you guys wanted some of those too!!
“I can’t be bothered with this shit.” He groans, falling back onto the sofa. I press my lips into a thin line, nodding to myself before taking a step back.
“And I can’t be bothered with you.” I reply, spinning on my heel and exiting the bus. The door shuts behind me with a resounding thud, and I pay no attention to the questioning glances of the security team as I take to the streets.
I was thankful that we’d arrived two days previously, as it meant I didn’t have to worry too much about getting lost. I walked briskly down the road, Ashton’s yells echoing through my head.
It was stupid really. All I’d done was ask him what his plans for the afternoon were, and he’s snapped. Our shouts had filled the tour bus for a short while, before we’d given up. My phone buzzing in my pocket snapped me out of my thoughts, but when Ashton’s face illuminated my screen I quickly denied the call, rolling my eyes.
Sighing, I pushed open the door to a coffee shop I’d found the day before. As I arrive at the counter, my phone goes off again, revealing a text from Calum.
What’s wrong with Ash?x
I lock my phone before smiling politely at the woman behind the counter. I place my order and pay, moving to sit at a free table. As I sit down, my phone goes off again.
And where the hell are you?x
I sigh, tapping out a response quickly, as Calum hadn’t done anything wrong.
We fought. I left. See you later x
I lean back in my seat, my eyes closed. A frustrated sigh leaves my lips, which is followed quickly by a cough. My eyes fly open to meet the woman’s, and she sends me an apologetic smile.
“I’m sorry for whatever it is dear.” She tells me, placing my drink on the table before returning to the counter. I take a sip, Ashton’s words beginning to flood my mind once more, until all I can hear is his voice.
“Running off in a foreign city? Are you insane?”
I jump as Ashton drops into the chair opposite me, surprised my his sudden literal presence as opposed to just his voice in my head.
“I mean really Y/N. What if you’d gotten lost?”
“Like you’d care.” I mutter taking another sip of my drink. Our eyes lock across the table, and I cringe away from the hurt that shines in his.
“You’re the one who left.”
“You’re the one who yelled.”
“You’re the one who said you couldn’t be bothered with me.”
“You’re the one who…” I trailed off, unable to come up with an answer.
“I’m the one who loves you. A lot.” He mumbles.
“I’m sorry for yelling. I just…I don’t know. I’m just sorry.”
“Me too.” I tell him. “For, you know, running off.”
“It’s fine.” He sighs, leaning across and taking my hand. This thumb brushes across my knuckles, and I relax slightly. “Just promise me you won’t do it again.”
I swing my legs from my seat on the edge of the stage, my heels making dull bangs when they came into contact with the wall. The stage crew worked around me, occasionally sending me curious glances or polite smiles. Their conversations and the music playing from the arena speakers surrounded me, yet it still wasn’t loud enough to drown out the screaming in my head. The boys’ head of security Dave appears at the back of the arena, before making his way down to the floor in front of me, a stern look on his face.
“Next time you decide to run off,” He scolds. “for the love of God, at least tell someone where you are.”
“The crew knew I was here.”
“You know that isn’t what I meant.”
“I’m a legal adult!”
“You’re nineteen and I promised your family I’d look after you.”
I pout at him, and his face softens considerably.
“I don’t know what happened, but just warn me where you’re running to before you do it, so I don’t have to consider organising a search party. Please?” He sighs, and I nod. “Thank you.”
I smile at him weakly, and he pats my knee before returning the way he came. The screaming in my head picks up again, and I squeeze my eyes shut in an attempt to make it stop. I don’t realise how much time had passed until I feel a body sit down beside me, and I don’t need to open my eyes to know who it is.
“Don’t.” I mutter, taking a deep breath. “Your voice is already in my head.”
We sit in silence for a while, until I finally open my eyes. I steal a glance at Michael, only to find his eyes are already watching me.
“I’m a dick.” He whispers, causing me to snort.
“You can say that again.” I mutter, and he sighs.
“I just got frustrated, that’s all.”
“Frustrated. Right.” I nod. Michael groans, his finger hooking under my chin so I look at him.
“You are amazing and beautiful and I love you.” He tells me seriously. I catch my bottom lip between my teeth, and his eyes dart down to watch the action, his tongue sweeping across his bottom lip as his eyes return to mine.”God, I love you. And I am so sorry.”
“You’re always sorry.” I breathe, the tears that I’d been holding back finally escaping. “And then a week later, we’re here all over again.”
“Not any more.” He shakes his head, before his forehead meets mine. “I’m going to fix this. Fix us. We’re going to be how we used to be. I promise.”
I close my eyes, and his lips brush mine softly.
“Me and you Y/N, against the world.”
“Mikey.” I whimper, and our lips meet again.
“I love you.” He murmurs against my lips. “Always.”
“If you stopped being such a bitch we wouldn’t have this problem!” Luke hissed, and I stepped back in shock.
“Whatever Luke.” I muttered, quickly turning and leaving him in the backroom of the bus.
The others looked up curiously, Ashton even sent me a smile, but I storm straight past them and out of the door in my attempt to get away from Luke. I stop abruptly once the door slams shut behind me, leaning back against the bus. My head falls back so I’m looking up at the sky, and a frustrated groan tumbles from my lips.
The window above my head is cracked open, and I can hear the boys whispering to each other, debating what had happened. Another voice soon joins in, this one louder, and my eyes narrow as I try to hear exactly what Luke is saying to them. After a minute or so, I give up, dropping to the floor, pulling my knees up to my chest.
I pull my phone out of my pocket, unlocking it and smiling when I realise it can still reach the buses Wi-Fi, however small the connection is. I open twitter, scrolling through my feed when it buzzes in my hand.
Look up bub x
I twist my head up to see Michael grinning down at me. I press a finger to my lips, and he nods slightly. He turns his head, his eyes scanning the bus before motioning me to stay put. He disappears for a minute, before my phone buzzes once more.
Do you need a drink or anything?x
If you get me a drink without Luke knowing I’m here I will buy you pizza x
Give me a minute x
I re-open twitter, picking up where I left off. I hear muffled voices and my head darts up, only to see Michael’s hand sticking out of the now fully open window, clutching a bottle of water. His eyes dart to mine, and I nod. He drops the bottle into my open hands, a smile gracing his lips before he disappears again.
Thank you x
I unscrew the lid, taking a sip as my eyes remain on my phone. I remain in this position for around an hour, phone in one hand, water in the other, until the door of the bus swings open.
“Have you seriously been here the entire time?” Luke asks, and my eyes lift to meet his.
“I mean, where else could I go?” I reply, and he shrugs, holing out his hand. I eye it sceptically, causing him to sigh.
“You aren’t a bitch.” His hand runs through his hair as I put my phone back in my pocket. “And you aren’t the reason we had a problem. I just, I don’t know, I’ve been in a shit mood and I took it out on you. And I’m sorry.”
“Whatever Luke.” I reply, taking his outstretched hand and letting him pull me up. His hand quickly moves to my waist, pulling me flush against his chest our toes touching.
“I love you.”
“I love you too, even when you’re annoying.”
I feel my hands shaking as I wind through the streets, making my way to the beach. Calum’s words fill my thoughts, making it hard to focus on anything else.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
It’s funny how ten words can haunt you so much. How a combination of meaningless letters can seep into your soul and make your world come crashing down. How a voice that causes your very essence to melt can sound so full of venom; how eyes that usually sparkle and are so full of light can be so dark and cold.
How the one person who you ran was the one telling you to leave.
I finally reach the beach, my brisk pace suddenly slowing as the paved floor turned to sand. I kick my shoes off, picking them up before edging towards the water, stopping when the waves engulfed my feet.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
I watch the waves reflect the sky’s colours as the blue slowly turns to a mixture of oranges and pinks. I don’t move as the crowds thin and the water empties until only the most advanced surfers remain.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
I stand my ground as the temperature drops ever so slightly, a light breeze dancing through the previously too-warm air. My eyes remained locked on the waves as the usual chatter that fills the beach silences, leaving the crashing of the waves and Calum’s words the only sounds invading my mind.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
I tense as a pair of arms wrap around my waist, but a familiar scent soon fills my senses.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
Lips brush my exposed shoulder, before the body pulls away entirely. Seconds later, a jumper is placed over my shoulders, and I can’t help but shrug my arms into the sleeves.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
The arms return to my waist, and a chin lands on my shoulder. I squeeze my eyes shut, begging the tears not to fall.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
Calum’s hand squeezes my hip, and a tear rolls down my cheek.
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
“Just fuck off Y/N, because honestly I’m sick of you.”
“Stop.” I choke out. “Please, don’t say it again.”
Calum spins me to face him, tucking my head into his chest. I sob into his shirt, and his grip on me tightens.
“I am the world’s biggest idiot.” He whispers, his lips against the top of my head. “In fact, no. I am probably the stupidest person on the planet, in the universe. I can’t believe I said that to you. I’m honestly so sorry Y/N.”
“You sounded like you meant it.” I hiccupped, and Calum pulled back to look at me. He crashed his lips to mine before pulling back ever so slightly.
“I’ll never mean it. I was just scared and angry and said the complete opposite of what I wanted. I swear. I couldn’t handle you leaving. Not like that. Not ever.”

You Fight But Get Sick - Luke
Summary: Luke and you get in a fight but you get ill.
It was bound to happen. With him busy with the new album and the tour rehearsals and you busy with your upcoming exams you both were on edge and it would only take one small petty little thing to set you both off.
You both had managed to take some time off your hectic schedules and has planned a date. You supposed to go and watch a newly released movie together. You got ready for your date and went the lounge and waited for him to get back from the studio, he was supposed to get back any minute now.
He was 10 minutes late but you weren’t really angry or worried yet as you kind of expected this, he wasn’t really known to be punctual. So to pass time you decided to watch t.v.
He was 30 minutes late. By now you were starting to get angry at him, if he was going to be late the least he could do was text you to tell you he wouldn’t be able to get there on time.
It had almost been an hour now. By now you were extremely worried and mad at him. You had tried calling him and messaged him multiple times but he had yet to call or text back, this made you worry something bad at had happened to him. What if he got into a car crash? or maybe he got robbed or something on his way back? but before you could worry too much the sound of the door opening pulled you out of your train of thoughts.
You stood up to see your boyfriend quietly entering your shared apartment. When he saw you standing there, all dressed up, he was surprised. “Hey, what are you doing up at this time?” He asked.
“What am I doing up at this time?” You repeated his question in disbelief, all your worry for him was turning into anger. It was obvious he had forgotten about your date, and normally you would’ve understood considering how hard he has to work at the studio writing and composing new songs but right now you were angry to think about that.
“You know what, I can’t believe you,” You growled as you watched his eyebrows furrow into confusion and then raise as he remembered.
“I’m sorry, I really am. I got really busy at the studio, we were recording some new song for the bands next album,” He apologised feeling tired and exhausted.
“Its always about the band isn’t it, it’s always about the next tour or the next album your going to release or the song you have to write for the band,” You hissed at him.
“Well, if you haven’t noticed it is my job. You haven’t got idea of how hard me and boys have to work, it’s not like I want to stay away from you and my family I have to make sacrifices,” He defensively snarled back.
“You don’t think I work, do you think it’s easy for me to study and keep a job at the same time? I could been studying for my exams but I was here waiting for you to show up,” You argued back.
You both were throwing vicious words, that you would never say normally, at each other. This kept going on until finally Luke spoke, “You know what I’m tired of this, I need get away.” As you watched him get his car keys and jacket you felt a strange bad feeling in your stomach.
When Luke finally got back from his 30 minute drive around town he was a lot more calm and relaxed. He thought about the argument you two had and he understood why you were so mad at him but he was slightly mad at you from not understanding things from his point of view.
When he got home it was strangely quiet, he expected you to come and ask him where he had been but you were no where in sight. Starting to panic he ran to the kitchen just to see that it was empty. When he saw that there was no-one in the bedroom he had thought that you had left him however before he could do anything else he heard noises of retching coming from the toilet.
When he opened the toilet door he was met with the sight of you throwing up into the toilet. He ran to your side and held your hair back as you threw up, grimacing when the smell of the vomit hit his nose. He gently rubbed your back trying to comfort you. After you cleaned up he led you to your bedroom and lied down with. Pulling you up to his chest, he rested his on yours and softly sighed. And even though he hadn’t said a word to you, this was his way of telling you its going to be okay
