At the beach stage, you can, kick off your shoes, make yourself at home, and cool down in the sacred waters of the Salmo River. Enjoy the familiar, chilled-out Living Room vibe that wraps its arms around you at the most crucial times–whether it be a short break from the madness during
peak party hours or some sunny relaxing riverside with your friends. Many people call Shambhala ‘home’ and every home has a Living Room: A comfort space where you can relax and host friends and family. We continue to bring groove-based dance music to the beach.
Disco funk soul and rare groove fun by day, transforms by sunset into a mix of even heavier grooves, tasteful house vibes and all other sorts of electronic obscura-teaze, showcasing some absolute legends in the dance music scene. This year our Friday format features ‘day of the duo’s’; showcasing some of the finest DJ power couples. Saturday we will continue with bass on the beach theme by day and on through the night. Sunday is worldly, eclectic, funk and breaks shifting into live music by night. A bumpin’ PK system with a full array of LED panel visuals, lights, and lasers. The Living Room is a candy buffet for the senses. Come meet your new best friends under the sister cedars and see first hand why ‘We love lamp!’
Shambhala Celebrates Their 20th Anniversary With Their Biggest Lineup Ever
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: Shambhala Music Festival has unveiled their 2017 lineup, and it’s massive. Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the BC-based festival has gifted its loyal fans with the biggest assemblage of artists they’ve ever featured. And what better way to celebrate two decades than with the likes of Adventure Club, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Illenium, Pendulum (DJ Set), Black Tiger Sex Machine, and tons more? Don’t believe us? The stage-by-stage announcements will kicked off April 17th, and run all the way through the 22nd. The official schedule begins with the Pagoda, followed by Fractal Forest, the Village, the AMPhitheatre, the Living Room, and then finally, the Grove. The full schedule, as announced by the festival:
Worth noting: Just because Shambhala sold out of tickets way back in September, it doesn’t mean you’re completely out of luck. Shambhala Music Festival Shares 2017 Lineup Feat. Excision, Pendulum, Jauz, NGHTMRE & More
Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, British Columbia is back for its 20th edition and has revealed an incredible lineup to go with it. Tickets for this event sold out in a record-breaking 16 hours back in September.
This year's lineup includes A-Trak, Adventure Club, Kill The Noise, Excision, Datsik, Pendulum, Destructo, NGHTMRE and many more. Shambhala Music Festival has always prided itself on booking rising talent and does a great job this year, featuring acts like Medasin, Ekali, Illenium, Shaun Frank and Vanic.
It'll be taking place August 11-14 on the Salmo River Ranch and showcase six stages, one of which is The Pagoda Stage a.k.a. Shambhala's "temple of dance" which will be completely rebuilt. The stage is truly epic, you can check out Getter's set from last year playing on the stage here. Shambhala's 20th anniversary is sure to be a special one. Shambhala Music Festival celebrates twenty years of cutting edge music, mind-blowing visuals and life-affirming dance floors this August 11-14, 2017 on the Salmo River Ranch. Over the past twenty years, they’ve delighted audiences from around the world who are seeking to connect with nature while gaining true exposure to groundbreaking new sounds and trends. Each of Shambhala’s six, independently operated stages are curated by their own Stage Director team – creating an immersive, unique experience in time and space.
For this year’s festival The Pagoda Stage, known as Shambhala’s “temple of dance,” will be rebuilt from the ground up following a complete tear down last fall. Our beach-side source of beats and life, The Living Room Stage, will also be experiencing a full rebuild. While it’s safe to say that many things have changed throughout the festival’s evolution, one thing remains the same: the Shambhala Experience is unparalleled. The Bundschuhs and the rest of the Farmily are anticipating the arrival of our 11,000+ guests to celebrate our twentieth annual affair with all of you this August.

Shambhala Festival Alert

Shambhala Music Festival‘s 20th anniversary is coming… And, that means the craziest party of the summer is going down August 11-14, 2017 on the Salmo River Ranch, in beautiful British Colombia!
Now, we have a look at the headlining lineup which boasts names like A-Trak, Adventure Club, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Datsik, Kill the Noise, Jauz, Pendulum (DJ set), Rezz, Slushii and so many other killer artists. Oh yeah, and mainstay act Excision will be sure to blow minds with his mucky bass (that’s what the locals call it, trust me)! Bleep Bloop, Holly, Ill.Gates, Space Jesus, Stylust Beats, Whipped Cream, Zeke Beats and more fill out a stacked undercard. And, this isn’t even the full lineup, as more will be announced April 17.
Shambhala Music Festival is known for bringing some of the most established, big-name acts in the game, and fresh, up-and-comers alike for an all-electronic, but eclectic mix of music that everyone can get down to. Favorites in the realm of house, breakbeats, techno, trap, dubstep, world beats, and turntablism — they’re all in there! Even a little hip hop!
